In this special class, families will deeply connect with the soulful rhythms of live drums, energize their bodies, gain strength and flexibility and rejoice in the bliss of feeling renewed, grounded and peaceful! About Pilin:
Pilin Anice is a yoga and dance instructor, wellness expert, and model. Passionate about helping others connect to their highest self, she has guided students of all ages in the sacred movements of yoga and dance through a range of workshops and classes. A Kripalu trained instructor, she has been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, BET/CentricTV, and YogaXpress. For over fourteen years, she has studied with masters of West African dance, Duhnam Technique, and African Diasporic dances of Haiti, Cuba, and Brazil. Her passion for yoga and dance led her to become a certified Afro Flow Yoga® instructor, which she has taught in the US and abroad. An ATHLETA Brand Ambassador, she currently teaches at the Ailey Extension and was recently featured in the NY Times.
A longtime vegan and wellness coach, she is a go to expert on plant based wellness through pregnancy and beyond. She is currently busy writing her first book due to be released in 2018. An alumna of Howard University, she lives in the NYC area with her husband and two children.
