Navigating Health and Body Image Through Challenging Times

March 24

Event Details

Yes, we are living in unprecedented times.

Yes, we are being challenged to our core.

Yes, these times are making us doubt ourselves and making us feel out of control.

However, we absolutely have control of ourselves, our bodies and our minds and ultimately get to make the decisions.

Feeling comfortable in your skin is hard for everyone but especially hard for women. We are practically taught, from a young age, to judge our worth by our appearance, and constantly compare ourselves to others. The media only further perpetuates this especially in trying times like we are experiencing today. This self critic tends to spill over into all areas of our lives not just with our appearance - work, achievements, personal relationships and more. If we can learn to love ourselves more wholly, refute the societal messages around us and revere the vessels we came in, we are naturally more robust, powerful human beings. Join this community conversation on how to tune out the noise and transform your life through simple strategies to help you feel more comfortable in your skin. Once we harness this, we are no longer held down by cultural restrictions or societal threats and can unlock our true potential.
